Stacy offers classes for all levels of Aerial experience, as well as Glow-ga, Vinyasa and Chair Yoga classes.
Aerial classes range from high fligh, to core inspired, to restorative low hammock classes. These classes allow for every student to find the aerial class that speaks to them.
Aerial Yoga Level 1- Foundations/Basics
This class will introduce you to the joy of support and suspension.
Through Aerial Yoga, we will combine playfulness, alignment, yoga and breath, to create a unique practice. The focus will be on learning to work with the fabric to support your asana. Sink deeper into your yoga practice, find effortless inversions and allow yourself to surrender to the Aerial hammock and it's benefits.
Mastery of this class will enable the student to enroll in the Level 2 class.
Aerial Yoga Level 2 - Intermediate/Advanced
Aerial Yoga Level 2 is a more diverse class. Offering the student more opportunities to go deeper into your Aerial Yoga practice.
This class will feature new transitions, a deeper core challenge, longer inversions, and building whole body strength.
3 Aerial Yoga LEVEL 1 Classes or Aerial Fundamentals/Basics workshop are a Prerequisite for this class . A private lesson can be set up to fulfill this prerequisite.
With All Aerial YogaClasses: You can bring a yoga mat to class, but it is not necessary. Socks with grip bottoms are sufficient. Wear a shirt that covers your underarms completely. Do not wear jewelry, belts, or clothing with grommets, gems, zippers or anything that could potentially snag the fabric. Avoid excessively lose shorts or very baggy clothing.
Aerial Yoga Low Hammock - Yin/Restorative
An Restorative/Yin Aerial Yoga class suitable for all levels of students.
This class targets the connective tissues of the body and poses are held longer allowing the body to fully surrender into the posture.
The Aerial Hammock sits lower to ground allowing support in the postures.
